Jung: "Symbols and the Interpretation of Dreams"  (1961)

1.  What does Jung mean by "symbol"?  How is a symbol different from a sign?

2.  What does Jung think about free association as it is used in the Freudian method of dream interpretation?

3.  How does Jung define the unconscious?  Why do certain things pass into the realm of the unconscious?

4.  What is the function of a dream, according to Jung?  How does his notion differ from Freud's?

5.  How does Jung explain dreams of future events?
